Name of Training Course
Maintaining skills and further development in Wildlife Hazard Management (in accordance with the Order of 30 April 2014 of the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in relation to wildlife hazard management at airports).

Description
Personnel responsible for wildlife hazard control at airports in France must receive refresher training every three years at the most to maintain their professional skills and keep up to date with technical developments.

Professional development courses last one day. Theory and field lessons are performed to check and validate the methods used by personnel in charge of WHM.

The course can be given with tailor made modules at the home-base airport of the participants.

General and Specific Objectives
Review the principles of wildlife hazard management.
Explain the techniques for managing and controlling wildlife hazards.
Validate the resources and techniques used to control wildlife.

 


Skills Acquired
Participants develop and fine tune their knowledge on airport wildlife hazard control and train in using their skills.

Professional Context
Participants are responsible for controlling wildlife hazards at French airports.

Prerequisites
Active as a member of personnel responsible for controlling wildlife hazards at an airport in France.

Qualification Issued
Certificate of attendance at Course on Maintaining skills and Further Development in Wildlife Hazard Management (in accordance with the Order of 30 April 2014 of the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in relation to wildlife hazard management at airports). eduQua validated certificate.
