On-site training of personnel responsible for animal scaring measures at the home-base airport of the participants. (in accordance with the Order of 30 April 2014 of the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in relation to wildlife hazard management at airports).

Description
Personnel responsible for wildlife hazard control at airports in France must receive, as required, special training in animal scaring techniques used at the airport.

Local training involves the trainer(s) taking part in animal scaring activities with trainees. In particular, safe use of weapons is reviewed and confirmed.

General and Specific Objectives
Review of principles for using animal scaring techniques.
Explain the techniques for managing and controlling wildlife hazards.
Validate the safe use of wildlife hazard control means and techniques.

 


Skills Acquired
Participants develop and fine tune their knowledge on how to use animal scaring equipment and scaring techniques.

Professional Context
Participants will be personnel responsible for controlling wildlife hazards at French airports.

Prerequisites
Active as a personnel member responsible for controlling wildlife hazards at a French airport.

Qualification Issued
